TECHNICAL DIPLOMA PROGRAM
DIVISION: TECHNICAL DIVISION

The Cosmetology Program provides opportunities for students to ascertain both the theoretical and practical skills as prescribed by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology licensure examination to demonstrate their knowledge and professional skills in all phases of hairstyling, manicures, pedicures, as well as skin care and make-up application. Delgado Community College is licensed to provide instruction in Cosmetology by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology, 11622 Sunbelt Court, Baton Rouge, LA 70809, Phone (225) 756-3404, fax (225) 756-3410, www.lsbc.louisiana.gov 

The program has additional admissions criteria, governed by regulations of the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology. Prospective students must contact the Cosmetology department housed in Delgado’s Technical Division to initiate the application procedure.
