CERTIFICATE OF TECHNICAL STUDIES PROGRAM

The Computer and Electronics Service Technology certificate program provides skills in the diagnostic and repair servicing of computer and electronic systems.

The Computer and Electronics Service Technology Certificate of Technical Studies is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering, 3300 Washtenaw Avenue - Suite 220, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, www.atmae.org.

The College offers an Associate of Applied Science degree program in Electronics Service Technology and a Career and Technical Certificate program in A+ Certification.  Learn more about these programs:

Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Computer and Electronic Service Technology Certificate program, the learner will be able to:

  • Explain the basic principles of analog and digital circuits (SLO #1)
  • Use technical documentation to repair equipment (SLO #2)
  • Run diagnostic tests and perform preventative maintenance checks and services on equipment (SLO #3)
