Important Dates (Academic Calendar)


Note: Priority Registration

March 18 - May 24, 2013 - Summer 2013 in person and online for new, continuing, transfer and re-admit students

March 18 - 30, 2013 - FAFSA must be processed by the federal government by this date.

April 15, 2013 - First FAFSA document deadline - all documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for an award letter and eligible for a bookstore credit.

Last day to receive 100% tuition adjustment
6 - 24     To apply for an educational loan to help pay the cost of attending school, you must have received a response to your FAFSA. The deadline to apply for a loan is June 24, 2013.
12 Wednesday   Last day to receive 50% tuition adjustment
17 Monday   Official Seventh Class Day

Last day to receive 25% tuition adjustment. No adjustment available after this date.
24 - August 9     Fall 2013 registration in person or online for new, continuing, transfer, and re-admit students
24 Monday   Appeal and supporting documentation must be submitted by deadline in order to be considered. Students who miss the first appeal deadline must be prepared to pay the entire balance out of pocket, but can be reimbursed if appeal is approved and processed. Second financial aid appeal deadline: June 24, 2013.
25 Tuesday 8 a.m. Beginning of midterm exams
28 Friday   End of midterm exams

Midterm grading period ends


Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering the proceeds of educational loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Therefore, student loan funds for first-time borrowers will not be disbursed to their accounts before July 3, 2013.

 

 4  Thursday    Independence Day holiday, no classes
 9  Tuesday  6 p.m.  Final day for dropping courses with a W of withdrawing from the College
 16  Tuesday  6 p.m.  Last date for reinstatements to be processed in Registrar’s Office
 24  Wednesday    Last day of class
 25  Thursday  8 a.m.  Beginning of final exams
 30  Tuesday    End of final exams
